January 2012

Not a lot of new news - sitting on a ton of half finished songs and thinking about sound exhibit ideas.

I was included in the VoxNovus 360 Degrees of 60X60 Burgundy Mix at the 2010 International Computer Music Conference in NYC. 60 one-minute long music pieces with multimedia elements and a big analog clock for an hour-long show. The Burgundy Mix has been played many times in several countries now. My one-minute piece was called Red Eye to Bettendorf.

I did the soundtrack for a short film with Aili Schmeltz called La Fuente de la Vida that is part of a larger art project shown in Mexico, LA, and Portland so far.

I have a video in the in B Flat collaborative music and spoken word project. The 20 videos can be played simultaneously in any combination - all people playing something in B flat. Mine is the one with a banjo. Try it.

Jasper and Mariel are at IAC - go play our songs there. Myspace page also.

I was included in the VoxNovus 60x60 2005 Pacific Rim Concert. My piece is called bobfricative.

CDs of my music for sale here soon I hope...like I said....

Street Musicians CD Vol. 1 ...someday! Cities included will be London, San Francisco, Madrid, Guadalajara, Edinburgh, NYC, Vancouver, Chicago, Quito, LA, and of course Santa Cruz. Here's a little sampler
